Towpath Trail Endowment Fund

The Towpath Trail endowment fund through Akron Community Foundation was started as a way to ensure a permanent, predictable stream of funding for future care of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. This fund welcomes gifts of all kinds, which can be made online or by calling 330-376-8522.

Phil Pashley Memorial Fund

Phil Pashley was a dedicated and admired employee of Lucky Shoes, volunteer, community leader, and avid user of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. To recognize and honor his legacy, a portion of the Ohio & Erie Canal Summit Lake Trail will be designated the Phil Pashley Memorial Way.
