Marcus Saulsberry is Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition’s Place Maker. Marcus works to maintain the welcoming and beautiful grounds at the Richard Howe House and cares for spaces along the Ohio & Erie Canalway. A Summit Lake resident, he came to Akron from Detroit, Michigan in 1983. In addition to working with the Ohio & Erie Canalway Coalition, Marcus volunteers with the Chapparells Baton & Drum Core as a chef. He and his family are also very involved in the Akron Civic Commons project.
