Since 1994, Daniel has built more than 150 community partnerships to develop the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area and Towpath Trail. He has provided organizations with assistance on organizational development, public/private partnership building, fundraising strategies, management plans, and government relations. An active member of local communities, Dan has served on numerous boards and committees including Ohio Historic Site Preservation Committee and Development Finance Authority of Summit County. He is a native of Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Wooster and master’s degree in American history from The University of Akron.
